I mean, it’s no secret that Jeremiah is smarter, but, c’mon, that doesn’t make Jerome dumb!
And Jerome is actually smarter than Jeremiah in other ways. Jeremiah is just nerdy smart. Jerome is criminal-mind smart. But everyone takes Jeremiah’s smart talking and takes it as a sign that he’s smarter.
Plus, Jeremiah kinda has an unfair advantage because of his education. But c’mon guys, Jerome’s got quick wit!
It’s like the respect for Jerome went out the window as soon as Jeremiah came along.
For instance,
If you can control an entire mental facility, you must be pretty smart.
And, you have to have at least a percent of an IQ to be able to perform magic tricks expertly like he did.
You have to be kinda smart to manipulate people.
Penguin himself said that Jerome is smart! Like, come on guys!
He found his way through Jeremiah’s maze. Partially because he payed attention (good memory) to Jeremiah’s drawings when he was younger, mainly because, as he said himself, they don’t look the same anymore but they still think the same. He thinks similarly to Jeremiah!
He single-handedly assembled the Legion of Horribles!
He found a way to make his chaos live on in Gotham even after he died. Both times!
Jeremiah made all those bombs with the help of Bruce Wayne’s resources and high-tech. JEROME MADE A BOMB THAT TOOK OUT ALL THE POWER IN THE CITY OUT OF THE RANDOM WIRES AND JUNK HE FOUND AT THAT POWER PLANT!!! I mean, ya gotta know more than a little about science to be able to do that.
Also, I know I say this a lot but I can not stress this enough. HE IS THE REASON WHY JEREMIAH IS WHO HE IS! And even if Jeremiah was already crazy, the gas brought his insanity to the surface! It takes a pretty intellectual person to come up with THAT!
So again, while Jeremiah was the educated one, Jerome isn’t stupid!
I watched the last episode (ss.4 ep.18) on last week and it was great (can’t wait for the next episode O3O /also the twin brother ‘Jeremiah Valeska’ is so cute by the way!)
