Don’t know if you’re looking for something sentimental, but sorry, that’s just not Jerome.

In the hospital

  • Seeing you in the hospital bed. He’d be so worried!
  • He’d never get any sleep.
  • He threatens the doctors and everything.
  • He’s totally cracking.
  • But you’d never know that.
  • He’d be perfectly cheery, comical, and optimistic around ya.
  • “Aw, you’ll get outta this Doll! I know ya will. I’m sure!”
  • Catching you up on everything you missed while you were out.
  • Always making sure there’s a smile on your face.
  • But on the inside he’s sobbing.
  • He’d never cry around you though, maybe when you slept he’d let a few tears fall and let a couple whimpers and sniffs slip.
  • He’d spend all the time he can with you, just making sure you’re happy and that you’re not losing hope.

After you leave the hospital

  • He won’t let you do ANYTHING, no matter how minor.
  • He won’t even let you lift up your head too much.
  • He’d want you perfectly set on the couch/bed, under your cover with little to no movement.
  • He’s naturally rough and heavy-handed, but he’ll try to be as gentle as he can.
  • It’s rare that he’ll treat you like a damsel in distress. He’s usually so oblivious to everyone’s pain, so enjoy it while it’s happening.
  • He won’t be all sappy and tell you how much he loves you and all that, but he’ll get the message across.
  • Taking your face into his hands and making you smile.
  • Telling you his best jokes
  • Just making sure you’re wearing a smile all hours of the day.
  • Even after you fully recover, he’d never let you do some things. Always having some elaborate excuse for not letting you do said things.
  • Overall just coming towards the whole dilemma with a comforting yet humorous approach.
