Oh with this guy as the “enabler” but also “dad’s ass kisser”

With the addition of this cutie (cuz they are gonna need a straight guy to “bully” 🤣) (course he is *NOT* straight, he is in a queer and happy relationship with his alien S/O, infact, the only one in a long lasting relationship 😌)

And this guy as the “cold straight guy” (we need him to be the “moral compass” and to bail the boys out of trouble)

“Yup.” And just like that they’re moving, Eddie and Venom in sync now in a way they’ve never been before: both of them sharing the driver’s seat, moving their body in tandem, thinking in tandem, intent on only one thing, a singlular and bloody goal –

Wait.

They’ve grabbed the bad guy, but they’re talking. Why are they talking? Why are they not biting?

“….we will find you. And eat both your arms. And then both of your legs.”

This is terrible. This is not biting. This is not eating.

*Eddie,* Venom thinks furiously. But Eddie has their voice, and he’s still going, making some kind of … threat? He thinks they’re just going to threaten this bad guy? This MEAL?

“Do you understand? Yes. And then you will be this armless, legless thing, won’t you? Rolling down the street.”

This is not even a good threat. *EDDIE* Venom thinks, as loudly as they can.

“Like a turd…”

This is a disaster. Why did they give Eddie enough control to use their voice. This is EMBARRASSING –

“…In the wind.”

Venom is rethinking this entire host thing. Maybe Klyntar wasn’t so bad.

“…Do you feel me?”

The bad guy stares up at them, stammering, asking who they are, and Venom is about to grab control back and bite off that juicy-looking bad guy head, and suddenly Eddie is doing something ELSE – he’s pealing back part of Venom’s face, showing their human face, eyes nose mouth and he’s saying –

“WE … are Venom.”

There’s a split second when Venom can’t move. They’re just overwhelmed. Eddie said “we.” Eddie said “WE.”

Every molecule of Venom’s essence squeezes tight, for a second, around his host’s crinkly, sweaty, unspeakably precious human body. There’s a suspended moment. Internally, in a space they share beyond bodies and beyond physics, symbiote and host are eye to eye, understanding, for the first time, how much they are accepted, how much they are one.

Then Venom realizes they’ve got control of their body again.

They eat the bad guy in a single bite.

That post made me think about the scene where Eddie tries to drink alcohol and venom is just like NOPE

He just doesn’t get it. The liver is trying to remove the toxic chemical but keeps putting it back in. Purposefully dulling his senses and making himself very vulnerable? If someone attacked..

So Venom is like..good thing he has me. How he made it this far is a mystery. 

“DON’T DRINK THAT, EDDIE. POISON”

“WHY ARE YOU POISONING YOURSELF?”

“ARE YOU..trying to get rid of me Eddie Never going to happen, Eddie

“Are you trying to hurt yourself Eddie?”

“Don’t worry, I’ll protect you Eddie..even from yourself”

On a more hilarious note spicy food too tho

Eddie: *eating some nachos with jalapenos*

Venom as loudly as possible: IT IS BURNING YOU EDDIE *throws plate of nachos across the room*

Eddie: What the hell was that, V???

Venom: I will protect you Eddie. Always. 

Ann and Dan: What the fuck, Eddie?

Eddie: …my hand..slipped..

Venom: the chefs are trying to poison you Eddie. Eat their heads?

Eddie: NO. 

Ann and Dan: ????
